Caroline is a certified art teacher in the state of Arizona, who got her Bachelor of Fine Art in Art Education from the University of Arizona. Caroline has always had a passion for sustainability and fashion, and Handcrafted by Care is where it all comes into together! Caroline is committed to having a sustainable business, using only second hand materials for the base of her products and art classes.
Caroline's educational programming has gotten her a Creative Aging grant, featured in the Tucson Weekly, and now working in education programming at the University of Arizona Museum of Art and the Tucson Museum of Art. Before launching her own business, Caroline was the lead art teacher at Nosotros Academy, a Title 1 school on the west side of Tucson. Caroline was also the Education Coordinator at the Sonoran Glass School where she was responsible for designing and teaching programs for all ages.
In addition to running her own business, Caroline enjoys spending time in nature and doing comedic improv. Some of her favorite places to visit are Rocky Mountain National Park, San Diego, and the Grand Canyon. Caroline is dedicated to pursue a business that uses art and design to promote kindness towards each other and our planet.
